Background
This is an NGO that started as a community Based Organization in the year 2004. Formed as a result of deterioration in education standard, lack of opportunities and facilities for the poor, HIV/AIDS Orphans and vulnerable children, poverty, child abuse and increased health hazards within the community.
The initiative was taken to unite and help residents within the community achieve social and economic equality.
The organization emphasizes on the great reliance on the unique resources and strengths of the community to find solutions to its own problems by networking, advocacy and research. The end result is strong roots in the community that is ethnic inclusive and focused on the socio-economic, education and development.
